4.0 out of 5 stars Jensen Headset
I gave this product 4 out of 5 stars because it does not give a snug fit on my ear, however it does stay in place while talking and working in the kitchen, etc. Those I have spoken with said they cannot tell I'm using a headset. The sound quality was clear from my end as well. I definitely recommend this product.

3.0 out of 5 stars Just bought my third one of these
This headset is comfortable and works well though it just doesn't last long. It's the only headset that works with my home phone so I keep buying them but they only last about six months.

This product is a nice headset that did fit nicely on my ear (lucky fit I guess) and was easy to work with. It is compact and feels quite natural for me. Not to mention it is designed to work on either ear so in the middle of a conversation you can just change ears.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best there is, February 19, 2008
This review is from: Jensen Hands Free Telephone Headset (Black) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
I had two of these bought many years ago and when the 2nd one finally died (finally caused a short in the cord by catching it on something one too many times) the search was on for a replacement. Finally figured out that the Jensen JTH950 was indeed the same model. Best point about this model, people on the other end will actually be able to hear you loud and clear. Every other model I've tried (and there are several) always left me getting told "can you speak up please". Granted, the earpiece isn't for everyone's ears, but it is very comfortable for me for very long phone sessions. If only the Jensen name and model number appeared on it somewhere, I'd have re-discovered this gem sooner.

Replaced same model. That one lasted for 3 years where I use it in my phone-based business. Clients report good sound quality, and I can hear them well. I can adjust the volume on my phone base if need be. Have previously used very expensive models and returned them or they just sat in the drawer. This works and it's cheap enough to buy a couple at a time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jensen JTH950 Telephone Headset, January 7, 2008
This review is from: Jensen Hands Free Telephone Headset (Black) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Of all the Headsets out there, hands free and other, over the head, directly into the ear, et. al. There is only one I like and it's the
Jensen JTH950 Telephone Headset . I just purchased 12 of them. I've used them for years. They're really simple, work left or right, have a nice little clip for your shirt or blouse to keep the cable tight. They're versatile. People can hear you real well and vice versa. Compare with many other more expensive models. I have. This is the ONLY ONE I LIKE!
Jensen JTH950 Telephone Headset
Get one today, or better yet, get a dozen. Like all headsets with their own cable attached, you need be careful to not catch the cable on anything which might pull it or cause damage to the connecting wire/cable.
If you are careful, the units will last as long as you do not damage them inadvertently.
Get a Jensen JTH950 Telephone Headset today, be "HANDS FREE" in home or car.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth the price, August 3, 2008
This review is from: Jensen Hands Free Telephone Headset (Black) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Better sound quality on both ends than the phone alone. Comfortable to wear. However, doesn't fit my phone without an adapter, which used to be included with this headset but now requires separate purchase. Good thing I saved my old adapter. As other reviewers note, the headset works for a year or two or three, then quits--but, hey, for that price, it's still value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value, February 15, 2009
This review is from: Jensen Hands Free Telephone Headset (Black) (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Most people choose to use wireless headset, while some folks like me stay with something that works. This little headset not only works well, it only costs a few dollars and if you lose it, it's not the end of the world. I'm away from home half a month (I'm a flight attendant for Delta airlines) and spend most of my layovers on my cell phone, before I started using this headset, it would have been impossible for me to do anything while holding on to my cell phone. No batteries to recharge because it's powered by the cell phone itself, easy to carry and cheap to replace. Have you ever tried to use your bluetooth with a dead battery?

If this headset fits your ear well then it's an awesome deal. The person on the other end of the call sounds great and I was told that I sounded like I was talking directly into the telephone. Unfortunately, it hangs on my ear in a way that feels kind of heavy and large so I will need to return it. It's one size fits all and it will fit you well or it will not. I think it's important to know that the earpiece is not adjustable.

I like this style of headset so much that I just ordered a few more, to be sure of having replacements on hand in case I lose one.

I've been using this style of headset since about 2004. I tried headsets from various manufacturers, including Plantronics, JawBone, and others, and I keep coming back to this style.

Likes:

* No battery to keep charged
* I can hear the person on the other end of the line very clearly
* Other people say they can hear me clearly
* Easy to put on and take off
* Works with both my cordless headset on my land line and also with my cell phone
* Comfortable to wear
* Angle of the mouthpiece can be adjusted to suit the shape of my face
* No need to hassle with bluetooth pairing

Dislikes:

* Kind of bulky for carrying in my purse or luggage

I've found them to be reasonably durable. Most of the time I've bought replacements, it was because I lost them. I did have a couple go bad after my cats chewed the cords, and a couple went bad from the stress on the place where the cord joins the earpiece when I'd stuff them in my purse. I've had a couple last me about 3-4 years of daily use, several hours a day. Considering the low price, I've definitely felt I've gotten my money's worth.
