The unit sports backlit LCD and a built-in AM/FM radio with 20 station presets (10 FM, 10 AM) for 1-button tuning to your favorite morning programs. Drift-free PLL (phase-lock-loop) tuning gives you clear reception every time.. It comes with hangers to hang from the shower head or curtain rail, or it can be wall mounted with the included bracket. The unit also comes with a base stand which makes it equally at home in the kitchen, den, garage or just about anywhere you want to enjoy your favorite radio tunes.
CD listening features include 20-track programmable memory and 1/all repeat--just the thing while you're perfecting your rendition of "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" (surely one of the greatest shower songs of all time). A minijack .125-inch headphone jack lets you listen in private, but we don't recommend using headphones in the shower--bathrooms are private enough already.
The player runs on 6 C batteries (not included) or AC power using a supplied AC/DC adapter (also not for shower use). The unit is backed by a 90-day manufacturer's warranty.

I purchased this shower/CD player for my recently graduated daughter's first apartment as a fun item. Before purchasing another one for my teenage son, I asked her about this Target shower/CD player. I had just read a recent Amazon review which lacerated of a similar model. Her email respsonse:" Also, the cd player works great--however, I don't put it in the shower itself because ironically enough you're not supposed to place it humid/moist areas--so not sure why it's a shower device. I do hang it on the doorknob inside the bathroom and listen to tunes in the morning--so i'd give it one and a half thumbs up. "

I got this as a Xmas gift and it has yet to work right. I tried using it in the bathroom and for the first 5min the radio actually worked then nothing, just shut off. I haven't been able to turn it on since then. Neither radio or CD function will turn on which is odd considering the clock and backlight function still work fine. Don't know if there's some special buttons I'm supposed to be using besides the On/Off one. Also the model doesn't appear on the Jensen website, am planning on exchange for another model.

I was tottaly pleased to open this radio for a Christmas present onlt to find how great the speakers sound.Im looking to buy another unit for another room in the house. 5 stars!!!!
