I bought this product and its great feels like james bond in my high tech car. it has alot of options for navagation, camera, camera, satillite radio, and i only just started. i plan to expeand this trough my 95 windstar lx lol ill be pimpin lol. Great product enjoy

When i bought this item i thought that the interface for the user was one of the best that i had seen, especially for the price. However of course just as the warrantee of a year that i had expired the screen no longer works and instead now displays vertical rainbow lines. It could be that the system is not tested under the same cold temperatures as where i live. But i highly doubt that just seems like poor manufacturing. BEWARE.

jensen is not alpine but it dosen't cost a grand nice toy for the money

i play music-dvds from my dvd burner and run my ipod havent had any

problems ,don't use cd-dvd with the stick on labels motor dosen't like

that. the line level outputs are a bit low if your runing amps, just use

a clarion eq a must .

It is just an excellent radio. I have it working properly with no issues at all for 2 years now and still reproduces almost every audio and video file. The only "complain" is it doesn't have USB port to connect USB flash drives.

I bought the radio and navigation module over two years ago. I still love the radio and believe it to work properly. some flaws, but overall happy. A year into owning it I returned it to JVC for service at it will not play DVD's. It will always give me a "bad disc" message and spit it out. I mainly play "DVD-R's" and believe this is the problem and the discs with labels are ticker than regular (original) discs. As another person stated, it will play a DVD for 30 minutes and start skipping until it freezes. this, i believe is a design problem, the unit apparently overheats quickly...
Once I got the unit back from JVC, which by the way was excellent customer service (once you provide them with copy of purchase receipt), the unit came back find, but I notice it will freeze after 30 minutes or so again...

DVD feature work like a charm, very accurate maps and software is as good as any other navigation device brand name.

I would love NOT to have had the radio serviced and for it to work properly once it was "fixed", for this I took one star from my review...

The only problem I have is the automatic preset button is kinda big and in the middle which makes it way too easy to accidentally hit. I bought this radio from Circuit City during their going out of business sale. I love the radio and all the functionality that it has.. I can't wait to expand on what I already have for it.

Bought this last fall. Not bad at first. I was really happy with it. Then, I burned some mp3s and things started going wacky on thye player. Some days I would start the car and the player would play in half speed mode--sounded like a demonic force belting out my music. Also, I cant play dvd's now. The player states its a bad disk. No mechanical issues. I may have a virus of some kind causing the strange playback. DVD's worked before I put Cradle of Filth in there....Spooky.

I bought this Jensen a few months ago and all I can say is I love it. The only thing I would say is, I was and still am confused about the "navigation" feature. I understand I have to purchase something in order for this to work, but to this day I HAVE NO IDEA what I need to buy. But overall, this was a great add on to my car. Another thummbs up!

I bought this after having a Panasonic Cq-Vd7003U that I paid $800+ for. I paid only $340 for this unit and I got what I paid for. Nothing really works consistently or smoothly. When you play a DVD and are on the menu there is no way to hit ENTER! Also, the touchscreen doesn't seem to work on half of the DVD's I try and play. Odd. All I am saying is save up your money and get the better name brand product. It's worth the wait.

I originally bought this unit because of its many features including IPOD control and the big one for me - multizone control. I was extremely ecstatic when I got this product. All worked as advertised for the first six months. However, soon afterwards, the unit started to fail after 60 mins of use. Of course, this was a huge disappointment, because most of the DVDs my kids watched is well over that time. I've had this unit from hell a little over a year now and new things seem to be breaking. As of 2 weeks ago, the eject button, the stop button, joystick and mute button have failed. My recommendation would be to avoid purchase of this product at all cost. It is definitely not worth the money. For a few more bucks, you can purchase a more reliable brand like Clarion.
