This review is from: Matt Jensen: The Last Mountain Man (Mountain Man: Matt Jensen) (Paperback)
Of the Mountain Man Series I like the Preacher the best, Smoke Jensen next, and Matt Jensen is far back. Maybe because the story line has come so predictable; that was the reason I grew tired of Smoke Jensen. This is also true of the story of Matt Jensen, but William Johnstone seems to have grown tired too. The action scenes have become very dull and almost non-descriptive.
I'll go back to the Preacher and Smoke every once in a while, because I like the good vs evil theme with strong descriptive action and characters. I don't know if I'll go back to see how Matt is doing, because I think I know. |
