Bernard Jensen is timeless in his advice about living in a way that allows health, happiness and satisfaction. He brings together the mental, physical and spiritual so that we can be largely free of disease and live well. To implement his advice takes courage. One doesn't really need to fully understand the science behind what he says. The advice is straightforward...

I bought this book hoping that I would get more insight into the raw foods diet. Dr, Jensen re-affirms that whole foods and certain other foods are best for you, but I didn't find his rationale very memorable or convincing. He gets scientific in this book, but I found that none of it was approachable, and after a few times trying to get info out of the book, I gave up. It...

Bernard Jensen is timeless in his advice about living in a way that allows health, happiness and satisfaction. He brings together the mental, physical and spiritual so that we can be largely free of disease and live well. To implement his advice takes courage. One doesn't really need to fully understand the science behind what he says. The advice is straightforward. What it takes is determination to live in accordance with his advice. Do this and you are almost guaranteed of positive results. This book will change your life if you are prepared to implement what he, through many years of clinical observation, has proven to be correct.

I bought this book hoping that I would get more insight into the raw foods diet. Dr, Jensen re-affirms that whole foods and certain other foods are best for you, but I didn't find his rationale very memorable or convincing. He gets scientific in this book, but I found that none of it was approachable, and after a few times trying to get info out of the book, I gave up. It isn't that there isn't good information in the book, it's just that it's style isn't compatible with my own.
