I am not too fond of this game. I do not like the multiple choice answers. I also do not like the computer characters. Very phony. I do not reccommend it at all.

I have this version and I hate it. But you can't return them once you try them. I used to have a version that was way better and had Alex actually talking on it. But I haven't been able to find any other version that this one in quite some time.

I was extremely disappointed. I was expecting something comparable to the Jeopardy 2003. This version shows the question, in extremely small print. Instead of buzzing in, you click on a button with your mouse, and choose from four multiple choices. There also is no audio, giving you the question, or any sound effects for the buzzers. There was no sense of interaction. I stopped playing after about five minutes. I think I'll go back to my Jeopardy 2003, until Infogrames comes up with a newer version.

I have enjoyed playing this as well as Wheel of Fortune games for a good while and have not been disappointed with the quality of the software

I had an earlier version of computer Jeopardy from 1996 which was basic but much better than this one. I can't believe that with today's software capabilities this is their latest version. I certainly regret spending the money. I wrote an email directly to Encore Software mentioning my disappointment and never received a reply. My advise, don't waste your time with this game, instead just watch it on TV.

This is a good jeopardy game. It is a little hard for us normal people. It would be nice to have a few easier categories and questions / answers! But it is supposed to be a challenge, so it does that. The time between questions is a little long. Over all, though, it is a good game.

Here are the pros and cons in my point of view.

The pros are:
-Dozens of challenging questions in the form of answers.

The cons are:
-Alex Trebek doesn't appear.
-Whenever I go into clue of the day, I get an "error encountered" message and then closes. (XP Users oughta be familiar with this)
-Narrow variety of character customizations for yourself.
-No randomized computer characters, which could have made the game better.

Here are a few specifications of in the game that don't happen on the show.

Applause is heard after correctly picking a response on a regular clue and a daily double clue.

The correct response isn't revealed until after a contestant reveals it.


To conclude, I hope the DS version is better than this one.

They made it multiple choice! This isn't the real Jeopardy, it's a dumbed-down version of it. Also, the characters are badly done computer animations. Had I had the chance to play it before I bought it, I'd not have wasted my money. I much prefer the earlier version with Alex and real people characters.

I enjoy playing Jeopardy & bought this for myself...I already had Jeopardy Deluxe...since they are very similar, I gave this game to a friend who was thrilled to get it...I would highly recommend it to all.
