5.0 out of 5 stars Cool characters
Was never really into the Jeremyville clothing but being digging some of his characters I've seen floating around so decided to buy the book and yeah its good, loads of crazy lands, his styles not super clean and polished which is what I like about him, Illustration in general has being getting a little too adobe illustrator of late and this guy shows whats achievable...

this book is jam packed with about 300 pages of vibrant color. I was shopping around for this book for a while when on amazon i find it for under thirty dollars, while most other site want fifty plus.
I say if you going to buy it, buy from amazon.
but with the layout and chapter flow i wasn't very impressed. but then again i didn't know much about the artist...

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool characters, October 20, 2007
This review is from: Jeremyville Sessions (Hardcover)
Was never really into the Jeremyville clothing but being digging some of his characters I've seen floating around so decided to buy the book and yeah its good, loads of crazy lands, his styles not super clean and polished which is what I like about him, Illustration in general has being getting a little too adobe illustrator of late and this guy shows whats achievable with a sharpie marker and a nicely chosen stripped back colour pallet. Maybe overly indulgent and very personal but hell go buy a corporate focused rotovision title if that's the sort of stuff your into. Sits nicely on my shelf next to titles by Neasden Control Centre, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pictoplasma, Monster Children & IDN. Generally if you dig bright colours, illustration or anything on Warp records there is a chance you'll dig this book. Cool DVD as well with some over the shoulder viewing sessions of him drawing which are great and show you a little of how his mind works. Two weeks of ownership and multiple reads and its still good.
