5 GALLON JERRY CAN SPOUT

Customer Reviews

My metal jerry can does not have a separate airway.
B.K.
A small flange on the base would solve this problem but apparently no one thought of such a simple solution.
Allan M. Lees
This thing leaks around the seal and spout no matter how tight it is.

The end of the spout fell off on the first use and is now inside of my fuel tank. It is definitely military style, not military grade. One star is too many.

If your jerry can does not have a separate air relief valve, no gas will come out of the spout. My metal jerry can does not have a separate airway. Only a trickle of gas will come out of the nozzle. What was I thinking!
Now after a couple of weeks, the spout fell off. I've now used JB weld to attempt to re-attach it. Whoever is using natural resources to make this spout should be stopped. It's a total waste of resources and energy. Amazon should remove from their web site.

First time I used it both ends fell off (Only glued together) spilling gas everywhere. Probably not worth shipping back with shipping costs. DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE!

This spout has tapered pipe threads my Military cans have straight threads..Thread count is the same but...
If anyone is considering buying this spout check the threads.

This thing disintegrated in my hands as I tried to take it off of the gas can. Cut my hand as well in the process.

Came apart on first use. The spout was attached to the cap by a daub of silicone caulk. Worthless. I do not recommend this product.

Gasket does not fit properly and if your not careful it will leak. Works ok if your on the side of the road out of gas and have no other options.
