I loved this book so much. Jerry Vale is truly one of the most gifted singers I have ever heard. What he sings come straight from the heart as did this beautifully written book. What is wonderful about Mr. Vale is his sincerity and honesty. I loved this book and would recommend it not only to his fans but to anyone who wants to read a book about a nice man, a nice family and a wonderful career.

Richard Grudens is an awesome writer and researcher. Jerry Vale is an awesome singer. Put the two together, and you have a masterpiece. Jerry is such a nice guy, and it's amazing how he has stayed so long in the music industry. His encounters with Sinatra, Carson, Dean Martin and others are great to read about. It's also nice toread about a family man. This book is dynamite.

I have loved Jerry Vale {singer} since a teenager, and now at age 81 still think his voice is the best of his time . There is no one like him today, and having just read his book, his character is a perfect match.

Jerry Vale was recording multiple albums per year from 1958 to 1972, at the peak of the great album era. He was well known for his high baritone and bel canto styling. He recorded three albums of Italian songs, and I believe at least one of those has never gone out of print. He had the first recordings of "You Don't Know Me" and "Al Di La."

The author seems to have had tremendous access to Vale in writing this book, making it closer to a ghostwritten autobiography than an outside biography. Vale and the author share many funny stories. The book has a useful discography.

I was pleased to receive this copy, better still it was autographed. Thoroughly enjoyed reading about this amazing singer's life, and also many of the singers mentioned throughout the book. I have never had the opportunity to see Jerry Vale perform live but enjoy listening to his wonderful relaxing music.
