Adventurous and Scary at the same time........, January 26, 2009
This review is from: Jerusalem Journal: Adventures in a Desert Landscape (Paperback)
Jerusalem Journal is a story about a woman that takes a trip to the Middle East. She decided to write about the trip in a diary. The story covers her adventures and the different people that she meets on the journey. Also, the main character in the book finds out as an adult that she had ADD and this explains some of her behavior as a kid. Joan Campion was very brave to follow her dreams and didn't let anyone hold her back. This is a very powerful story and gives an inside look to the culture in the Middle East.

A brave womans adventures!, January 24, 2009
This review is from: Jerusalem Journal: Adventures in a Desert Landscape (Paperback)
Joan Campion lets us in on her adventurous trip to what seems to be an always dangerous area on this planet,The Middle East. Her journey starts in the Arab country of Jordan and concludes in the Israeli owned city of Tel Aviv. From start to finish, you will join her in the wonderful sights, the fears, the friends she makes, and even the taste of the falafel. What makes this story even more interesting, is the fact that Joan takes this trip by herself. This means, that she has to rely on her wits and the new friends she makes to keep, and get her out of the troubles she encounters. This is a fast, interesting read, but that is what you can expect from one of Joan's books.
