I read a couple of other reviews on this which complained that the screw knob was not as pictured or was missing. Well, mine came with a screw knob (which locks it into position on the fence), but it was screwed in underneath so that it would fit into the box (pretty clever I thought). So either the other folks were truly missing the screw (just call Amazon or Jessem to get a replacement), or else they didn't look closely enough.

I really like this product and plan to get another one for double-ended router tricks (like cutting a slot of a certain length in the middle of a board).

The tool is great. Pricey but very good quality. I own other JessEm tools and while they are very high quality I must state: God be with you if you ever need customer support from JessEm. The name JessEm and the words customer support are mutually exclusive. Too bad Amazon doesn't have a deal with Veritas for wood working tools. The quality of their tools is excellent and their customer service is the best on the planet. Ironically, I believe JessEm and Veritas are both Canadian based companies.

All of the product information shows a knob on the top of the stop. It was not shipped with the stop. The design of the Mast R Fence prevents the use of any other stop on the market. Good stop. Poor packaging or marketing.
