5.0 out of 5 stars A VERY FUN READ!!, March 23, 2006
This review is from: Jesse James: United States Senator (Paperback)
Mr Epperson has done it again! The author of THE UNSEEN HAND, THE NEW WORLD ORDER and MASONRY CONSPIRACY AGAINST CHRISTIANITY, has put together another great book, this time about the legendary outlaw JESSE JAMES. Mr Epperson does a very nice job of showing the reader how Jesse James staged his death in 1882 and went on to live under the alias WILLIAM ANDREWS CLARK and later, in 1948, showed up in the city of Lawton, Oklahoma under the name of J. Frank Dalton at the age of 103, claiming to be none other than the REAL JESSE JAMES HIMSELF. This book is must reading for anyone who is interested in US History, The Old West, Freemasonry, The Civil War and intriguing conspiracies. Ive read all of Mr Epperson's books and this one is one of his best!

This book is the best treatment I have read that addresses this theme in toto
(including my own essay 'What you didn't know about John Wilkes Booth and Jesse James'

Epperson's sholarship is the ne plus ultra of the genre

Run, do not walk & order a copy.

In tandem, I would also suggest a close reading of 'Rebel Gold' by Bob Brewer

And for the intrepid researcher of the Knights of the Golden Circle, i would recommend
purchasing the books of Roy Roush in California

Roy was closely connected to many of KGJ principals of the 70s.....
