Produced by Lloyd Royal Sr. this is a great B movie from the 50s. If you like the old westerns you will love Jesse's Women. This action western has multiple plotts and a couple of nice twists not to memtion some beautiful female co-stars.

If you are a 50s Western Fan, Jesse James' Women is for you.

IMDb has Clem Botts as Champ O'Toole, but it is Al Hillman, who is Champ O'Toole. The movie is a funny take on greed, jealousy, and the dual nature of the outlaw. Don't expect an epic and remember that many actors were making a transition from classical stage to film in those early years!

Ok, I really enjoyed this one. A fun romp. Lots of elements of a dandy western, from saloon fights to even a couple of musical numbers out of the blue. Some fun characters. Consider me "Team Cattle Kate" - at times Jesse James was played like a congenial fellow anyone would share a sasparilla with, not much of an element of danger here. But lots of wit and devilish plotting. As mentioned in the plotline that was one heck of a catfight in the saloon, which even includes brief use of what appears to be a whip and the execution of what appears to be a back-suplex onto a table, WWE style. I also found it interesting that a couple of players in this offereing never did another project, including the aforementioned Cattle Kate.

Caught this one on Amazon Prime, the quality of the flick itself was choppy at times, along with a couple of skips. But i would rather watch an old hidden gem like this with those kinds of faults than not at all. So enjoy for what it is, a good one. Now i wonder if my wife will let me get the replica movie poster for our wall!

This jovial Jesse James sure had his way with women! There was even a little twist at the end which I guess was meant to send the moviegoers home happy, thinking Jesse James was indeed not all that he seemed. Cheers and pass me a "bucket of beer"
