By Linda "Linda" (Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Jessi and the Superbrat (Baby-Sitters Club, 27) (Paperback)
Well,it is a Babysitters Club book, but it really isn't worthy of this great series.Years ago I read my first, and what would be my final for a long time,BSC.This one.I don't recommend that Jessi and the Superbrat be your first BSC or else you will not understand what a terrific series this is.Because this novel,is really average compared to BSC standard.

A Kid's Review
This review is from: Jessi and the Superbrat (Baby-Sitters Club) (Library Binding)
this story is about jessi baby sitting for derek, a child star from stoneybrook who is on a break from filming a tv sitcom. She is so starstruck that she felt she wanted to get into acting and modeling and things like that, but it's good she stuck with what she knew best, ballet and she landed a role in a ballet after a couple auditions at a community centre in stoneybrook. I think it was for the nutcracker or something, I can't remember.

Ok but not best......,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Jessi and the Superbrat (Baby-Sitters Club, 27) (Paperback)
I enjoyed reading about the child actor Derek Masters who comes to Stoneybrooke in the story, since I'm so into theatre myself, but Jessi should stick to ballet. She doesn't know ANYTHING about acting! It's not as easy as she thinks. All of the sudden, she just think's she'll be famous and she'll be "chosen". She should start out smaller, with theatre, before looking into agents and TV and modeling. Plus, there's a lot of rejection in the show biz world, and Jessi doesn't even give that thought! It isn't that easy. Do not be fooled - Jessi and Ann M. Martin do not know what they are talking about when they talk show business.

When Jessi gets to baby sit for a TV Star and he is the new boy in school. Jessi can't handle Danielle, the Superbrat. It's time to teach Danielle a lesson.
