I had been looking for tie up espadrilles for a long time. I bought these online without looking at them in person. They are very comfortable, but the ties aren't as long as one would imagine. The picture is deceptive in that the cord wont cross that many times without being able to tie them. The soles are very flat, so be careful walking on uneven surfaces.
Also, while my boyfriend doesn't like quite a few pairs of my shoes, but he actually hid these from me because he thinks they are that ugly, which is odd, even for him.
