Blends very nicely, good quality hair, March 27, 2008
I'm Chinese and I have pretty typical natural black hair. I got the Midnight Brown color and the color matched perfectly. You cannot even tell that it is not my hair (both with color and texture). The synthetic hair looks very real and feel pretty nice.
I have very straight, past shoulder length layers as my haircut. What I did was use a curling iron to curl the ends of the upper part of my hair before putting in the extension. It took me a few tries before getting it to blend in the back. If you place the extension too far up then you might see the "net" at the crown of your head. I had to make sure I used a lot of hair from the top to cover up the back. After it's on, it looks bottom heavy, but it works with the wavy style because it looks like you just have a lot of volume (which is great for me since I have no body in my hair).
Pros:
- Blends very nicely
- Go from short to long in minutes
- No perm required
Cons:
- It may be back heavy for some

Don't waste your money, July 13, 2010
Take my word for it: DON'T BUY THIS. I did, and it was terrible quality hair - it looked awful and fake and it was super tangly right out of the box. For 1/2 the price ($29) you can buy the Attach-a-Piece from Wig America and it's great quality, looks natural, and comes in every color imaginable:
[...]
I've had one for over a year, wear it at least once a week, and it still looks great. I get many compliments. Like the Hairdo piece, it's also a 1 piece system rather than 6 separate pieces like some systems, so it takes about 30 seconds to put in.
Also MAINTENANCE is key for any extension system. Always brush GENTLY with a metal wig brush, never plastic, to keep synthetic extensions looking good, and wash as little as possible. Since clip-ins are not a full wig and you only wear them a few hours at a time, you do NOT need to wash them very often (unless of course you sweat a lot when you wear it). I've only washed mine 2 or 3 times, maybe once every dozen times I wear it, and it looks gorgeous. If you need to detangle or smooth it out, just use some spray-on conditioner and/or hairspray made for synthetic wigs to prevent tangles. (These have no alcohol in them so don't dry out the fiber.) When you do wash it, just put it in cold or warm water in the bathtub or a bucket with a tiny bit of shampoo made for synthetic wigs and VERY GENTY swirl around - then do the same with plain water, hold by the top and gently shake out, and let drip dry. Never brush it until completely dry. You can get both spray-in and regular wig shampoo and conditioner at any beauty supply store for a few dollars. Another tip: all synthetics look too shiny when you first get them, but they quickly lose the shine once you brush them a few times or use the synthetic wig hairspray.
