I bought this as a gift for a friend who is probably a size 4 or so. I've thought about getting one for myself but had read reviews of other Jessie Steele aprons saying they were way too tiny. When I received this one, I took it out of the package and tried it on. I'm a size 16 and it fit well. The top half was narrow so it didn't quite cover "the girls" but was sufficient.

The apron was very cute and appeared well made. Would recommend to anyone!

I adore this apron!! I got it last week for my birthday and it is super adorable! It's feminine and pretty, but it is also a good weight. It's heavier than a lot of 'hostess' aprons these days and the size is good. The length is great and it covers well while still making you look cute! I love the bow detailing! I would definitely recommend Jessie Steele products and will buy them again in the future.

This apron looked super-cute in the photo, but seeing it in person was a big disappointment, due to the very thin quality of the fabric. It was just too thin for an apron. It would never protect your clothes beneath it, and if you wiped your hands on it while cooking, it would easily go on to your clothes.

This fabric and shape of this apron are really cute, but the craftsmanship isn't as good as I'd hoped. All in all, and in spite of some poorly sewn seams, I am happy with the apron.

This apron is so cute and retro! It is also very functional since it has two pockets.

Very nice quality of fabric and neatly sewn, BUT... oddly shaped.
I am not a big person, size 4 and of average size. The bottom of this apron is much to large and overlaps in the back making it difficult to tie. Also the top is not cut properly and doesn't cover your whole chest area.
The idea is nice but would not recommend.

Just a novelty item at best.

I purchased the adult Jessie Steele Cupcake apron as well as the children's version. I thought it was a cute gift idea. The actual product is less than desirable but I am hoping the recipient will think "it was the thought that counts". The material is almost as thin as cheese cloth. It will not protect the wearer from even the slightest splash, let alone a child in the kitchen. I was expecting better quality for over $50 for the two. Over all very cheaply made even down to the stitching and fabric colors. I would not recommend any Jessie Steele apron and especially not at the prices they are selling for. I gave it 2 starts only because it was a nice idea to offer the same pattern for an adult and child. Very happy I didn't buy the matching oven mitt.

This apron would have been better if the strap around the neck didn't have to be tied.I would have preferred it if I could slip it on over my head.
Other than that I really like the apron.

I received this apron as a birthday gift and I can't wait to bake in it! The apron is light, but not thin, and it covers below the waist well. I will note that the top could do with being a smidge wider (another poster said it didn't quite cover The Girls, and I second that!) but I rarely splatter up top when baking, so it's not really a problem. The ties are plenty long, and the pockets will be perfect for toothpicks and cup measures, and how cute are the bows?!

I have to agree that the top is very narrow and barely covers the chest (I'm a size 2). It's ok though since you have your regular clothes underneath. The fabric is thin, lightweight, cotton. What's nice is the cut at the hip- it is form fitting and flares out at the bottom, making it extra feminine.

Great apron if you're going for style and basic functionality. Not recommended for heavy duty cooking!
