This apron is adorable and made of good quality 100% cotton material. Viewing other aprons and the price of designer aprons , this price is great. I have seen this apron at other websites for $79.00. The other reviewer doesn't know what she is talking about. I am a seamstress and my mother is a seamstress. This apron is well made with darling detail work.

Cute and Workable.,

I thought I would get this for show but have found myself using it quite often. The design is flattering even on us larger girls.
If you are wanting a cute apron that still does the job, this is your little number.

This apron fits perfectly. It looks great, it is sturdy, and I will wear it every opportunity possible. It's great for entertaining company and just cooking for the family. Thanks for this great item!

Fairly decent apron,

I was skeptical at first due to previous reviews about the material being too thin. It was not super thick but not seriously thin either. It was about in the middle or so. The problems that I had with the apron was the quality of the stitching and the width of the bib part.
The stitching was a disappointment and seemed cheap and low quality. The seams of the pockets tore a little the first time I put my hand inside and I did not exert much pressure. The width of the bib I suppose was meant for fairly thin women like say, size 6 or so? I'm a size 10 on top and it barely covered my chest area. If it was about 1 1/2-2" wider I would have been happier. In conclusion, the apron was very cute but had a couple of design flaws. I would probably not purchase a second one unless it was on sale or something. I would have paid maybe 20 bucks at most for the quality of the apron.

Jessie Steele Bib apron overpriced for the quality,

I purchased the apron as I was giving a party and all my aprons are for everyday use. I felt the apron was overpriced for what you get. First of all the apron is small and the quality of the material is average. Its a cute apron but for the price of over $30.00 don't feel I would buy it knowing what I know now.

Ridiculous,

I bought this item as a gift for my wife. It was a big mistake.
I agree with other reviewers (this item appears in multiple places on Amazon, so the reviews are scattered on the various instances of this item), that the item was poorly made. It's extremely thin material. My wife has some experience sewing and making clothes and was shocked, especially given the cost of the apron. Furthermore, this item is clearly only for petite women. For example, the top of the apron measures less than a foot across. This didn't even cover my wife's bust. Ridiculous. I also had trouble returning the item. I have yet to receive my refund. Save yourself the time and money and forego this item.

Thought it was for a child,

If you have a "woman's" figure, this is not the apron for you. I wanted this apron forever and my husband got it for my for Christmas. I hate it and it is going right back to the store it came from. I have a 34DD chest and this apron doesn't cover half my chest. Not to mention the cut of the apron is nothing like that I expected to be, it's just goofy. As soon as it came out of the wrapping I thought it was a children's apron. I guess I'll have to make my own, or keep shopping around...

Cute, and More Functional Than I Thought,
By
This review is from: Jessie Steele Ava Bib Apron, 50s Kitchen (Kitchen)
I picked this up in a local store, so I wasn't surprised by the thin material. I expected it to be more for looking cute than to actually be functional. I only use it for baking though, and since I can just brush the flour or dough off of it once it's dried, it's held up pretty well. I do not think it would do well in the washing machine though.
The upper bib part is kind of small on me, as I'm a bit more substantial than your average girl. ;-) But the shape makes my curves look smashing, and I get compliments every time I wear it. I actually looked it up here to buy a second one, but the thirty dollar price tag is more than I paid for mine, and for the quality, I don't think I would pay that much for it. Still, I absolutely love the one I have now, so I will think about getting a second one for when mine wears out.

I like this apron, but don't give it much heavy use. I usually only wear it if I am hosting a brunch or the like. It would be most flattering on someone with a very narrow waist. The apron strings are quite long enough, but the natural wait of the apron itself is quite narrow. I was disappointed that the bows on the pockets are not stitched, but saftey pinned on, boo.

This apron is absolutely adorable. The pockets are big enough to fit a small hand towel in for wiping your hands while you're cooking. I am 5'4", ~140lbs and it fits great. I agonized over which Jessie Steele apron to get because they're all so cute, but I'm glad I picked this one...the 50's kitchen fabric is truly vintage looking and the cut is very flattering.
