I was really excited about such a cute apron. I spilled some soup on my apron while cooking so obviously I washed it by itself AND according to the instructions. It came out horrible. Completely faded and wrinkled. It's unwearable. I'll probably cut it up and use it for some sewing projects I'm working on =\

I really liked these aprons and was willing to spend the money for something so cute as a treat for myself and my mom to wear while we did our annual Christmas baking. I bought the Retro Cherries for her and Red & Pink Polka Dot for myself. They are just as cute in person as online and I have a number of friends who have Jessie Steele aprons. I was so disappointed how much it faded after one wash. I take good care of my clothing and this was washed on delicate with good detergent that keeps the color and this faded so badly in one wash it looks like I washed it 100 times. My husband who does not notice things like that saw it hanging in the kitchen and said "babe what happened to your apron?" so it's not just me being overly critical! If they're gonna charge this much for an apron they could at least use better fabric. As cute as they are I do not think I will buy these again.

This apron is made of very inferior material and it had a chemical odor-perhaps the dyes used in the cloth. I did not feel the article was worth the price.Style is cute and seemed ample in size.

My boyfriend bought me this for Christmas, after I'd professed my undying love for Jessie Steele aprons. The fabric is quite thick, a little stiff, even, so I had high hopes for its durability. However, the fact that the design is actually painted on rather than woven into the fabric made me a little concerned. Like some others have written, just one wash on delicate cycle and the pattern was done for. It now has large crease-shaped fade marks. I ironed it, and of course it's still usable because it's an apron, but it definitely shows devastating wear. My boyfriend had given me the matching oven mitt, and they are sadly very different colors now. I don't regret begging for the apron-- just glad it wasn't my money!

This is great for somebody who wants to pretend to cook or maybe someone who wants to role play as a sexy housewife...my mom wanted a cute frilly apron for x-mas this year. I thought the Jessie Steele Aprons were adorable, but when it came in the mail I was a little dissapointed. The material is thin, and the matching pot holder was a different shade of the same colors. I can imagine upon washing it, it would fade or wear out. Not good quality, plus the bow looks so cheap in person, it's literally pinned on with a gold safety pin and just hangs there. I don't feel like returning it, but I wouldn't recommend it to others.

very nice apron. only issue is completely faded out on the first wash, but still very useable and still cute enough.

I bought this apron as a treat for myself and I'm glad I ignored the negative reviews. The fabric is more than thick enough. I am also far from a petite woman and it fits just fine. My husband was deployed when I bought this and when he came home and I made pizza the first time and wore this he thought it was great. No problems whatsoever and I plan to buy at least one more in a different style.

A cupcake recipe book ("Hello Cupcake") along with this beautiful apron was part of a favorite wedding present recently. It is well made and very sweet looking as well as being flattering on any figure. A fun apron to wear hosting a kids cupcake decorating party too. It just looks so "fun" and cheerful.

I got this for Christmas after putting it on my Amazon Wishlist. Great quality, very girly, and it makes me feel great while cooking!

well i just got this in the mail the other day and i was so excited to wear it cause i love to bake well here are some things to share about it: 1.it is very cute but i would say poorly made 2. the bow on the apron it not sew on it is put on with a safty pin 3. the neck starps are so stiff it is hard to tie so i just to them to a dry cleaning place and had them put buttons on the waist and button holes on the neck starps so i could just criss cross button it then it moves with me 4. well i saw all the comments on when people washed it the apron faded i tried hand washing it and it was not faded and i air dried it when you have somethig delicate that is the best way to wash it also a tip i noticed (TIP: When you wash it and it fades try ironing it after it dry's it make the color darker i noticed but dont iron it for to long it will burn just a quick roll over!) other than that is is cute the price is kinda rediculas for what you get i would not buy another one at this price maybe something cheeper!
