This is a great book for anyone who wants a old world country feel to their home. The illustrations are beautiful and the decorating advice is thoughtfully planned out.

I thought this book to be very colorful and informative book, Jessie covers the many styles of country living interiors - whether it's country cottage or rustic or primitive she has captured it all. Very attractive design - anyone into Country Style will love this book.

Yes the book is beautiful and I'd love to have any of the rooms pictured. Nice relaxing book to sit down with in the evening and daydream. However the homes pictured already have tons of architectural detail before any paint or furniture was added. Stone or brick walls, plank wood floors, high ceilings with beams - gorgeous. But I live in a five year old home. I'd love a country decorating book that showed me how to take my builders standard to country beautiful.

I always enjoy looking through a book that gives me ideas. When I can look at picture after picture and see great decorating techniques I can copy, I want to share that with the rest of you gals looking for the same thing. So....if you're into country / primitive decorating, then this book is a great tool. Beautiful color photos that will make you run to your nearest antique store or flea market, because you'll be itching to decorate!

Understanding that opinions are subjective, my opinion is that this is a wonderful book. The pictures draw me in and put me in a primitive, mellow mood. It is also inspiring in that when I'm finished with the book, I want to get started on a decorating project. The pictures are just so enjoyable.

I loved the book and the price is great for all the ideas that is in the book. She gives you great inspiration with the many different country styles. I would recommend this book to any novice home decorator.......

The pictures and layout of this book are top notch.Once you buy this book, your country journey has just begun, this will leave you with a hunger for more books like this one.
