Gene's CD "Jesus Is All I Need" is just wonderful. I was so pleased to hear so much original songs on it rather that the usual hymns. His cousin, Bobby Bost, is an exceptional writer and Gene certainly did justice to her writing. I've been a fan of Gene Watson's for many years, always enjoying his traditional country music, but I sure would like to see him do another gospel album,as he certainly sings God's music with feeling.Good work, Gene, and God bless.

I have been a fan for years and own all Gene's music but this is the best, you feel all that he is saying.

I laughed some, cried some and mostly just basked in the annointing that flowed from the richness in Gene's voice and the songwriters' words. Didn't find ONE BAD song in the whole bunch. No doubt about it...this is a collection of inspirational songs that carries my mind to a peaceful, resting place each time I listen to it! Thanks, Gene and all those involved, for following your heart and blessing us with this album that gives us a "drink of water in a dry place".

This is one of the very best albums recorded by Gene Watson. His is a very unique voice filled with emotion and feeling, especially for this collection of sacred songs. Gene's version of Amazing Grace is amazing in itself. A great arrangement and a very talented group of musicians who also felt the music. One of Gene's very best offerings.

This recording takes you back to church. One listen and you will be transported to a spirit filled state of mind. Gene's performances of traditional favorites and new songwriter Bobbie Harris Bost's top-notch material was delivered with heart-felt enthusiasm and sincerety. His trademark voice really shines on this recording. If you enjoy Gospel music, you must listen to this recording! Once you've heard it, you will want to have it. I am looking forward to more recordings like this from Gene; especially with material from this wonderful new writer!
