There aren't many people who know about the Pocket Songs Jesus Christ Superstar Karaoke recording. Mostly, everyone uses the Stage Star recording, which relies to heavely on the Piano, and goes waaaay to fast.
This recording has a full orchestra. The music itself sounds a bit like the Orlando Pops recording, only with the lead vocals removed. This version has 11 Tracks (but for some reason it inculdes Overture and John 19:41, which are instrumentals :/): 1)Superstar Overture 2)Heaven On Their Minds 3)Everything's Alright 4)Hosanna 5)I Don't Know How to Love Him 6)Damned For All Time/Blood Money (although it doesn't actually inculde Blood Money- :/) 7)The Last Supper 8)Gethsemane 9)King Herod's Song (Try and See) 10)Superstar 11)John 19:41 There's a second version of this recording with two discs- one with no vocals, and one with backround vocals for those who sing at home. Amazon had it last time I checked, but if you can't find it, you can get it here: www.pocketsongs.com. Again, these orchestrations are amazing. Gethsemane is simply beautiful, Everything Alright is extreamly touching, and King Herod's Song is hilarious. If you want good Karaoke, then buy this CD. This is classified as a CD-G- if you have the right equipment, the lyrics will appear on your TV screen. |
