I liked the way this study took a variety of passages and focused on them in order to study Christ. I think it is probably good for a variety of levels of Bible understanding. I think the lessons could have been longer or gone into a little more depth, but some in my group liked that fact that the lessons were short.

We used as a weekly Summer study with you v Moms. I think it's challenging and could be expounded upon to provide more in-depth depending on the group. Overall, I really like J.S. for digging into scripture. Each chapter can take 30 minutes to rush-prepare answers or 2 hours to really dig in and apply.

John Stott's study guides provide enough information, thoughtful Bible questions for study, and practical application. The balance works very well for our women's study. Too many studies today are oriented to personal application and almost no study of passages. These chapters are a beginning point (we go deeper) dealing with the 4 gospels and 9 epistles and their presentation of Christ. I find it excellent!

We enjoyed working through this is our study group. It was one of our better choices. It was thought provoking, discussion starting. Theologically sound. Can't ask for much more.
