An Excellent Introduction to Christology,

This review is from: Jesus the Christ (Paperback)
Fr Weinandy is well known for his book "Does God Suffer?". In "Jesus the Christ," he leads the reader into Christology (the identity of Jesus Christ) in a slightly less-intensely-academic manner. With cross-references to the Catechsim of the Catholic Church, and spanning everything from the history of the Church's developing refinement in Christological belief to the reader's own new life in the Spirit as a baptised and confirmed Christian, Weinandy's book is perfect for those who want to be able to answer, with Peter, "you are the Christ, the Son of God" when asked "who do you say that the Son of Man is?"

confusing book!,

had to buy this for my introductory Christology course. The layout of the book is very confusing. It may seem organized at first, but the way the words and the paragraphs are put are pretty scrambled that you may need to outline exactly what you are reading. overall, a decent book. nothing too special.
