A Manual, a Map, a Work of Heart!,
This review is from: The Jesus Cult (Paperback)
The most confrontational book in religious circles today. Banned from advertising on a local Fox network in Atlanta due to pressure from today's moneymaking religious organizations. This is a heavy book. In essence, it defines the single message existing throughout the Bible in contrast to the many errors within each of the major religious movements of our day. For example: Are we all gods? Are we born basically good? Are we called to be prosperous? If man's first false religion was the same Pantheism that began in the story of the Garden of Eden, then it is also man's last false religion in the currently evolving world government. The temptation to be "as god" drives us ever up the tower of Babylon and ever deeper into our atrocities as we "man-make" ourselves out of existence. No wonder Gary Price is being challenged by the so-called religious authorities of our day. False religions (which is basically all organized religion, period) have a rich history of smothering out whatever confronts their money machine. I would recommend this book to anyone seeking to understand, whether deeply religious or deeply atheistic. The Jesus Cult, in essence, describes a body of thought whereby Jesus the man and Jesus the message as written in the Bible is used not for the body of believers but rather against the body of believers in such a way that fools us all into thinking that our own Pantheism is a righteous and true religion, with good fruits (results), and so on. While in actuality, what we have is a bunch of people acting on temptation to put themselves up above truth giving themselves ultimate authority to live however they want to live while molding the message around their own weakness so as to cover up rather than change or evolve. Sound like he got all false religion nailed? Well, for the most part these offenders, as it turns out, probably include you and I as well. By the way, Gary Price is a black preacher in Atlanta. He is on record as being fully against the "civil rights industry" of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and the other so-called "Reverends" who use the race card to extort money from business and government for the sake of the poor and then keep it for themselves. ... ... Not only is he the first black man I have ever heard say something directly against these shysters but he has completed a work so far beyond even the most pious of protestant believers, of any color, who find that they themselves are also taken in by their own Jesus Cult.

So Many Cults, Very Little Time,
By Gaia Randall (Dallas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Jesus Cult (Paperback)
I enjoyed reading this book. It outlines very many religions and cults and their beliefs. A helpful tool or guide when deciphering and rightly dividing the truth. Time is of the essence. This author doesn't hold back his pen. He name names of those who are wolves in sheeps clothing (and to my surprise and I'm sure to yours as well, some of them are big time, well known preachers). The truth must be told. The Bible does remind us that there is only a remnant who will be saved. This is why no one really knows who will make it in. You will just have to live right according to the gospel and ten commandents and HOPE that you are in that remnant.

This Author Is On To Something,
By B@OJI (Florida) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Jesus Cult (Paperback)
This book is definitely a MUST READ! Price teaches the truth and spares no feeling. He comes against anything that is not of God and he has no shame or regret. He beautifully outlines situations where people get so caught up in the "man preacher" and do not have their sight on God. He calls the storehouse the "whorehouse." So many preachers will scare their congregation into paying tithes, but Gary Price breaks down the truth about titheing. Please, by no means confuse Gary Price with Frederick K.C. Price. I hope that many of you will read this review and get this book. It can actually save your soul. The one thing I did not like about this book is the cover. It makes you think that this book is about a cult religion. But once you read the book, then you will understand the cover. I think if the author changes the book cover, the sale of this book will go sky high; but then again, maybe not because not too many people want to hear the truth. They'd rather hear lies and they love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. But if you are one who is serious and wants a true relationship with Jesus Christ and are tired of these lying preachers and so-called Christian folks; if you are just sick and tired of your ungodly life; if you are sick and tired of going to church and see no change in your life; if you are sick and tired of playing church; then this book is for you.
Don't let this book pass you by because you could, conceivably, be passing up your salvation.

Finally! Someone willing to look at the church world and tell the truth without compromising the issues. This is a timely wakeup call for all of us who believe in Jesus Christ especially as we see end-time events unfolding right before our very eyes. This is a must read for every true believer who does not want to be deceived.

I have read this book several times and it gives fresh revelation every time I read it. Most so-called "Christians" will be offended by this book or simply won't get it. If there is still "mystery" left in the Bible for you, be VERY scared for you are perishing , i.e., "the mind is blinded to them that are perishing." This book, as ALL of Jesus' and Pastor Price's teachings, is intended ONLY for the Remnant. If you miss his points, you ain't that. Gary Harrison

Good Teaching,
By clarissa taylor (Atlanta) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Jesus Cult (Paperback)
I found this book to be a tool to reach maturity in the christain walk. Some will get the message(s) the the writer has so very well delivered. I was able to agree on many issues that was presented and felt a need to laugh at some (but in a positive way). The writer held no names back and that was good, good to expose Satan as and where he is. I urge those who are sitting in the pews to grow or go, don't just take the man's word, seek THE WORD for yourselves and live independantly from liars and dependantly on Jesus. The exhortation of the Holy Ghost and the experience that follows when you receive was well spoken. I feel this book is a must for everyone, we all have to know what thus saith the Lord in order to have enternal life with Christ, not knowing will earn you eternal life with Satan. This is an excellent book of teachings and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to have received it from a friend who thoroughly enjoyed it. If your heart is right with God, this book cannot be denied, disputed, rebuked etc., etc. It is the truth that will set free and Mr. Price has spoken the truth, so I must ask "why has he become your enemy"? Mr. Price God is pleased that you have not teased. Keep crying out loud and spare none, even if it is T.D. Jakes and the likes.

If you are tired of "religion" this is a book you must read,
This review is from: The Jesus Cult (Paperback)
This book awakens you to the true gospel of Jesus Christ and enlightens you about false religious doctrines that keep you:
1. Ever working to pay "penitence" instead of "repentance" from dead works to serve the living God. 2. Trying to live by rules and regulations to make you a "better person" instead of the transformation of your mind by the blood of Jesus to make you a "new person". This book exposes all the falsehoods that have kept the Body of Jesus Christ "divided and conquered" instead of "more than conquerors". If you are tired of religion and want a relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ by the Holy Spirit then this book will help you get stated on your journey to eternal life. |
