How old is this guy? Like 33? We who are older need to catch up. If retired people (who have time and finances) would read and apply the stuff in this book, we'd see an unprecedented revival. Don't retire; re-fire!

While I could probably write a novel in my review of this book, I will not. All I can say is that Banning reinforces what I've been learning over the last two years of my life about embracing a supernatural lifestyle, a lifestyle that appears supernatural to the world that we live in. It's not about reinventing culture, it's not about creating our own culture as believers, it's about TRANSFORMING the culture around us. It's about meeting people where they're at and bringing them an encounter with the living God.

It starts with us and impacts the generations after us. I really liked his chapter on honoring those older than us, on those who have gone before us. Just buy the book.

I loved this book.

Banning is a young guy with a heart for Jesus and for the people of this world. He has been blessed with some great wisdom, courage and some great mentors in Bill Johnson, Lou Engle and the like.

I was especially taken by Banning's views, backed up by Biblical examples, on the significance of generational relationships and how important a role the old and young play together to bring about supernatural change.

There are so many good insights in this easy to read book and I would encourage all, young and old, who are passionate about revival to read it!

Well done Banning.

Banning does an excellent job at presenting this new breed of Christian that is no longer known as a "layperson" but now carries the title of revivalist, no matter if they preach on Sunday mornings or if they are the CEO of a multimillion dollar corporation. He also dives into revival history and gives some unique insights into how revival has not been carried over from one generation to another, and how we can break this negative cycle. GREAT BOOK!

The author, Banning Liebscher teaches and encourages believers to have a love relationship with God. The author explains that "signs and wonders" all come to demonstrate the love God has for people. He says that God wants to invite us into a love relationship. He also writes that personal revival and breakthrough for revival begin through prayer. If you desire and are seeking to bring more of God's kingdom to earth this book will encourage you.

Good book about how God has raised up His church for worldwide revival. God wants us to take cities and nations. God wants to use the young and the old. He is going to pour out His Spirit on all flesh.

I started reading this book on August 1st 2010 and finished it in 6 days. What's crazy is that the day I started this book was the day I released a vision on Facebook that I had in June of a revival at Penn State University.

Here is a link to the vision if your curious:

[...]

We have formed a team of emerging revivalists from different generations as this is the mandate we have been given. I am only 21 years old, but our team is fully covered by Spiritual Fathers and Mothers from the State College area and beyond. We are currently 18 days into a 30 day prayer movement and it's incredible. We are only 12 days away from launching into public ministry which so far will consist of treasure hunting, prophetic tables where anyone can come get prophesied over, public worship in the streets and preaching the Gospel of Grace backed with Signs and Wonders.

I highly recommend this book to every believer because it is about who you are and what God is calling you to in this hour of history. This book is about your destiny for this season of your life. All believers everywhere are being called by our Father to be revivalists in their homes, schools and workplaces. This book is about your primary purpose in life. Father is singing over you right now in anticipation of you discovering another large chunk of who you are. Don't miss it! Get Jesus Culture ASAP and get launched into your DESTINY!

p.s. Blessings to Banning Liebscher my faithful brother who is fulfilling his destiny and raising up generations of revivalists to transform the world!

This book has really shown me that I am not alone in my PURSUIT of CHRIST. God is raising up THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of "revivalists" across this planet. This book carries so much authority, because it is completely grounded in the Word of God. I would HIGHLY recommend it to any young or young-at-heart Christian that is passionate about seeing lives transformed, generation after generation, by God's crazy love.
