Amazing Study,
By
This review is from: Jesus in the Gospels - Study Manual (Kindle Edition)
I am writing this review because the only other reviewer gave this study two stars because it is challenging. Yes, this study is challenging. It requires a commitment from its participants. It is also probably the best study available for lay students of the Bible to facilitate understanding how Jesus has been portrayed in the four canonical gospels.
This is not a study of the historical Jesus. This is a study of the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John which highlights the way these gospels understand the person and mission of Jesus. It involves reading large portions of the scriptures to understand the perspective from and the context in which the gospel writers see Jesus. This study has an amazing payoff for groups that understand the value of commitment and diligence in the study of teh scriptures.

A Bible study for the truly dedicated,
By
This review is from: Jesus in the Gospels Study Manual (Plastic Comb)
This is a Bible study that requires a high level of commitment. It features daily readings, from different books of the Bible, not in sequence, to set context and background. It would work well for the truly dedicated, but not for your average Bible study group.
