Easy but informative,

This book is a well-done historical treastise on Christ's years on earth and how He was perceived by early Christians. Bruce, in his usual style, smoothly switches from pre-church to early church. The reason why this book only gets four stars, rather than five, is because Bruce aims a bit low, and focuses more on beginning Christians. Some of his approach is a bit too simple for the mature Christian.
