About the Author

James, known to his friends as Jim, was born April 18, 1908 in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended the University of Tulsa and Oklahoma University, and served in the Armed Forces of the United States for three years. Jim worked for General Motors for thirty years, beginning in the General Motors plant in Kansas City, Missouri, and later became a high-level executive while working at the Chevrolet Motors Division in El Paso, Texas.

In 1964, following his inner guidance, he left the business world to study to become a Unity minister at Unity School of Christianity, Lees Summit, Missouri. He was ordained in 1967. Jim and his wife, Audre, co-ministered in Memphis, Tennessee; Columbus, Ohio; Fresno, California; Ft. Collins, Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Albany, Georgia.

Jim started receiving the messages of Jesus of Nazareth in 1970. He passed away quietly in 1978 while sitting in his chair in meditation.

"A Message from Jesus of Nazareth to You,the Reader: I feel the account of my life on the earth plane about 2,000 years ago, given in this manner, will have more meaning and be more accurate than the messages I have inspired others to write. They were excellent channels, but this is a better way. Naturally, the language we are using is the current idiom rather than a translation of the Aramaic I spoke long ago. There will be no conjecture or supposing. It must be perfectly clear to anyone who reads this book that my sole purpose in living and giving of myself was to awaken man to his true potential.

"The people of that time were living in a state of mind that was quite similar to the state of mind of most people today. There were the rich and the poor, the well and the sick, those who worshipped many gods, those who worshipped one God, and those who worshipped none or self. Men were the rulers and women their chattel. There were the cruel and the gentle. There were those who hated and those who loved. Crime was rampant, and seemingly might ruled. Yes, it was much the same as today there was happiness and there was sadness. There was much that was good and there was that which was not so good. At that, it was a good world for mankind in which to learn and grow.

"This is only a very meager description of the kind of world into which I incarnated. I returned to the earth plane with an intense desire to hep man raise himself to a better life and to realize his own vast and unlimited spiritual powers. These powers were being used incorrectly and thus bringing undesirable conditions forth into the lives of a large portion of mankind.

"I believed that I should stir the people up to awaken them to their own spiritual self just as I had found mine. So this is the reason I took the action that I did. I knew it would create commotion and call attention to what I was teaching.

"Mankind must know the truth and not someones interpretation of what I said or meant. It is time for all men to make ready for the new age coming by the year 2,000. Only those who accept the living God as their creator and savior will survive the worldwide tribulations that are coming. Those who grow spiritually will reach the heights of glory in God's kingdom of peace and happiness. All others will be in turmoil and pain of their own choosing.

"People who accept this truth and apply its principles to their lives will aspire to attain the highest spiritual goal. Millions who have been studying metaphysics will find it easy to follow this teaching. Only those whose minds are closed will find it difficult to change to the concept that God is within rather than outside themselves in some far-away heaven that exists only in imagination.

"In this writing, as in the Biblical account, I speak of God and also Father or Father-God, and there should be an explanation given of what I mean by these terms or names. God is spirit and is omnipresent - that is, God is present in everything formed or unformed in the universe. Another way to say it is that God is life and/or energy. Your scientists have proved that life and/or energy is everywhere present, in everything formed or unformed. God is and everything in the universe exists in God.

"God is not a 'he' or a supreme being, and should not be thought of as such because this limits God and there is no limitation in God. God does not move, think, see, feel, judge, or act in any way. All creating is done by the spirit of God working on ideas in God mind or universal mind.

"These ideas are brought into manifestation through the activity of the spirit of God in the universe and through man. This activity of the spirit of God in and through man I call the Father, or Father-God. I named it the Father to further explain or help man picture and understand its relationship to him. Man personalizes God which in reality cannot be done. However, the Father-God is the power that man feels flowing through him, and is in mans conception his personal God.

"The Father within me or flowing through me is the power I used, and still use, to accomplish all things. It is the same power that flows in and through each man for his personal use to supply his every need and to use for the good of all mankind. This is the reason I said, He who believes in Me will also do the works that I do, and greater works than these will he do. He who follows my instructions on how to use this power can do these works.

"There is no limit to what any man can accomplish with the power of the Father flowing through him when he uses it the right way and for the good of all mankind.

"In order to correct any misconception regarding whether or not I am alive or dead and how I am functioning as I help mankind, I would like to say: I am alive. I am living on the spiritualized earth plane in the same body I spiritualized and raised some 2,000 years ago. I am a Master expressing conscious Oneness with God. You will receive complete instruction on how you, too, can achieve this state of mastership if you desire to do so and are willing to make the effort. Thus, you will be using your true potential powers. God bless you."

This book ranks at the very top of best metaphysical works. It's authenticity can be felt inside, as it gently touches the spirit within. The story is told as a narrative, which makes it easy to read while holding multiple levels of meaning and significance. After 4 readings, I still look forward to reading it again. This work by Master Jesus has my highest recommendation.

I loved this book from start to finish. Reading Jesus' own words is far more inspiring and readable than the King James version of the New Testament (or any other version), a book which has been edited and modified to meet the political and economic needs of Christianity and the West. This book sets forth the mission of the Master Jesus in simple and understandable words which ring with truth, kindness, and compassion. Even the most hardened fundamentalist cannot deny that this book has a marvelous message and story to tell.

I enjoyed this book and it will be a keeps book for me. I will read it over and over again. I learn more from this book ,than years of reading the New Testament. I really believe this book is everything Jesus wanted us to know and apply to our life. I feel like I know the real Jesus and his real message. I real like, I know and understand the true message Christ had for the world. I have read alot of spiritual books and been seeking for true understanding of life and This book has open my eyes to alot. I say this is one book all you read,But have a open mind when reading and decide for yourself.I am so glad Jesus spoke thru James Morgan and had this book written.
