I love this book and my son loves it too! We re-read it almost daily. The thing I love the most about it is that it explains in simple childlike words and pictures the scripture being presented. (Galatians 5:22-23). Then, at the end of the book, it has the whole scripture written out in New Living Translation, so I feel that my son is getting the word planted in his heart while he reads a book with me. The pictures are great, too! But, for me the main thing is that rather than so much fluff, as many of the books I have looked at for him, this book is really focused on getting the all-powerful word of God into the hearts of our kids.

This is a great book for children. Based on Galatians 5:22&23, it explains in simple terms the fruit of the Spirit. Fun, colorful illustrations enhance the text. I can't recommend highly enough!!! This book has really helped my daughter (5) to understand how to act with Jesus in her heart!

Excellent book, bright happy illustrations, and text is great for young children to learn biblical principles. I love the bible verses on each page with the reference. I would highly recommend.

Great book for kids, demonstrating Biblical principles in simple, easy to comprehend ways kids can relate to.

We have enjoyed reading this with all our kids -- ages 9, 5 and 2. All our girls enjoy the vivid illustrations and clear ways of recognizing the fruit in their own lives and in the lives of each other. This book has created some great jumping-off points in our conversations about how we can pray for each other and the good fruit we are recognizing in one another. I had read this book several times before, as my sister has it, and I am really glad we ordered it as a Christmas gift for our 5-year-old.

A friend recommended this book to help remind kids or situations and how they should react in the Christ like fashion. It has been a great learning tool for my younger two children. Very simplistic at times but the kids and I do enjoy it.

The kids stay focused when I read this, they like the pictures and can relate to the story. The story has a nice flow to it. It's a great tool for helping little ones understand fruit of the spirit.
