I have read the Chinese version of this book. I am trying very hard to buy this book in both Chinese and English versions.This is the best book in introducing Jesus from last centuary.

R. T. France has come to be one of my favorite biblical authors. A serious academic scholar (read his commentaries on Matthew and Mark in the NICNT and NIGTC), yet one who writes so accessibly. If you are looking for a concise picture of Jesus and what he was about, open your Bible and read this book, for it is bound to have you thinking about Jesus in ways that perhaps you never have. I am looking forward to teaching a class on the life of Jesus wherein this is the textbook chosen for study.

It got kind of "preachy" in the middle, but I though it was entertaining. I prefer Robert Ludlum or Dave Eggers.
