Book Description

Seemingly, Jesus and The Bachelorette have very little in common.

I'm kidding. It's more than seemingly. These things are pretty much completely unrelated. Shaq and Newt Gingirch are more comparable than these two.

But, that doesn't mean that we can analyze different elements of the two and mine them for similarities.

Jesus and The Bachelorette is not a book that will cure cancer, save your soul or definitively explain LOST. But what it will do is try to look at Christianity and the format of ABC's reality TV hit and glean insights that can be spiritually applicable.

5.0 out of 5 stars A legitimately excellent read September 15, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
Knox continuously produces funny, witty, and intelligent content. He is a master of words, there's no doubt about it. I am almost finished reading this work, and it is one of the best things I've read in years.

I'm not kidding, it's worth much more than 5 bucks.

5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT JUST HAPPENED? January 10, 2012
By Ian F.
Format:Kindle Edition
If there ever was a doubt in your mind which writer could possible find Jesus amongst the roses, tanned bodies, and hyperbole (his words)of that which is the Bachelor/ette it would undoubtedly be KNOX McCOY.

This book is well thought out, well written, and well worth more than a measly $5.

Great for a laugh followed by an awkward "Oh crap he's talking about me" moment.

I thought I had written a review for this book already. Surely, given the impact that it had on my life, I had remembered to give the literary genius Knox McCoy the "props" he deserves (as the kids call it). Alas, I had not.

Until this moment.

I could write hundreds of words about how humorous, witty, and surprisingly insightful this book was, but let's be honest: the book isn't much longer than this review. Heck, I could likely just copy and paste the book into this comment box and still have room to make a drawing of a boat at the end.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out. Because it's not huge, but still hugely awesome. And that should be all the reason you need to drop a mere 5 bucks on some great reading.

How does he do it? I don't watch the show because I don't want Knox's blog and this book to ruin the images I paint in my mind.
