Knox continuously produces funny, witty, and intelligent content. He is a master of words, there's no doubt about it. I am almost finished reading this work, and it is one of the best things I've read in years.

I'm not kidding, it's worth much more than 5 bucks.

If there ever was a doubt in your mind which writer could possible find Jesus amongst the roses, tanned bodies, and hyperbole (his words)of that which is the Bachelor/ette it would undoubtedly be KNOX McCOY.

This book is well thought out, well written, and well worth more than a measly $5.

Great for a laugh followed by an awkward "Oh crap he's talking about me" moment.

I thought I had written a review for this book already. Surely, given the impact that it had on my life, I had remembered to give the literary genius Knox McCoy the "props" he deserves (as the kids call it). Alas, I had not.

Until this moment.

I could write hundreds of words about how humorous, witty, and surprisingly insightful this book was, but let's be honest: the book isn't much longer than this review. Heck, I could likely just copy and paste the book into this comment box and still have room to make a drawing of a boat at the end.

But that doesn't mean you shouldn't check it out. Because it's not huge, but still hugely awesome. And that should be all the reason you need to drop a mere 5 bucks on some great reading.

Or you'll be that person, laughing in your cube, coughing to try and stifle the noise.

Seriously the funniest thing I've ever read. I don't know how he comes up with this stuff!

Knox McCoy is a genius.

Is that all you wanted me to say Knox?

This book is great! I bought it when a friend linked to it on Twitter. Knox is a great writer. The book is hilarious and a lot of fun to read. I highly recommend it. It's less than the #3 at Wendy's.

It's hard to imagine that a book that has anything to do with The Bachelorette could possibly be considered thoughtful, but Knox McCoy makes it so. His comparisons of the church and the television show are absolutely brilliantly funny, but if you're a Christian, they will give you pause as well as you think about the ways we try to dress up and market a relationship that is meant to be much more than a prize at the end of a show.

I have nothing but good things to say about this book and I can't recommend it highly enough. Worth every penny of your five bucks.

How does he do it? I don't watch the show because I don't want Knox's blog and this book to ruin the images I paint in my mind.

Great stuff!

I teach Intro to Theology at a Christian university, and after reading this book, I've decided to rework my curriculum so as to include it.

Actually, I'm kidding, because that would probably get me fired. But it'd be really cool if I did.

What more could you want from a book about Jesus and the Bachelor/ette? References to Creed? Check. To Whitney Houston that are now kind of mean? Check. To Fast and the Furious? Check. To Twilight? I actually kind of hated that part.

But it was funny. And true. Very Hemingway-esque.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: being in the world, but not of it requires more than a passing familiarity with the culture in which we live. Knox McCoy not only has his finger on the pulse of culture, but he's also a man of deep faith--a man who knows how to be in the world, but not of it. As such, 'Jesus and the Bachelorette' is a sharp, witty, insightful comparison of seemingly opposing cultures: the Bachelor/ette and the living church of Christ. And yes, Virginia, we the church can learn from ABC's sordid love factory.

Thank-you, Knox, you've given us a great gift in your book!
