The 1.3-horsepower, 115-volt heavy-duty grinder is UL listed for safety and features totally enclosed pre-lubricated ball bearings for fast, smooth grinding. It also features cast iron motor housing and steel tool rests for optimal stability and durability. The grinder comes with adjustable acrylic eye shields, and is equipped with a gooseneck light fixture. It also comes with both coarse and fine vitrified grinding wheels.

When I purchased this item for my dad for christmas I bought it because the item desciption said that it was 1.3 HP. On Christmas eve when he opened it, the motor said 1/3 HP. The only reason I went with this one was because of the added power. I was very disappointed when I discovered that I had actually purchased the smallest horse power grinder available. If you still want this product the name is good, just beware that it is not the horse power that is advertised.
