While this JET saw beats it's closest competitor on price, it also offers some advantages in terms of design and construction. Placing the quick-connect electrical plug right at the saw so the user doesn't have to search out the wall socket for every blade change is just one small example of JET's attention to detail. The stand for this saw is made of a heavy-gauge metal, has a hinged motor cover, and a 4- inch dust port for easy connection to a dust-collection system. A change in the hole pattern on the fence rails means lefties can shift the set up to their preference. The left-tilting arbor is another mark in this saw's favor. Tilting the blade away from the fence negates the need for a sacrificial fence and reduces the risk of the piece binding under the blade. This saw's most impressive feature is the smooth action of the blade height-adjustment mechanism. Not only will users save their wrists and knuckles, but also save time by being able to crank the blade to the exact height necessary with vastly fewer test runs for every rabbet, dado, tongue, and groove. Finally, we really appreciate JET's use of totally enclosed fan-cooled motors on this and every other saw they make. While this may add a little to the final cost of the saw, the extra life and reliability this gives the motors is well worth it. This saw is an excellent choice in its price range. --Nancy Gleason

Get the 10-inch left-tilting arbor table saw that comes with an extra large storage cabinet, and 50-inch Xacta commercial fence. The extra large cabinet measures 27-x-27 inches for a total of 6.75 cubic feet of valuable storage space. Constructed of solid 3/4-inch two sided grade A melamine with a heavy duty laminate. The saw also features a large precision-ground 27-by-40-inch cast-iron table with two extension wings, totally enclosed fan-cooled motor, and a rail-mounted magnetic on/off switch. Also comes with support legs, carbide blade, mobile base, and tenoning jig for a limited time.

I have used the saw for a couple of weeks and couldn't be happier with its performance. All of the tolerances were very close and the fit and finish of the machine were excellent. The only issue with assembly was a slight warp in the extension table. Jet's customer service (which I have found to be the best in the business) replaced it with no questions asked. The cabinet gives plenty of storage and is also setup to be used as a free-standing router table. It is a great saw and the accessories make it worth the extra price.

This is the last saw you will ever need. The saw came in 8 boxes and took a full day to assemble but was well worth the time. The fence was easy to adjust and the square up directions are well layed out. The only complaint was the extention table board had a slight warp in it, but a small c clamp fixed it. With all the extras you get, you can't find a better deal. If you are looking for a cabinet saw then this is the one to get. Add the jet(NOT THE DELTA) sliding tabel and htc outfeed to have the perfect tool
