Jet Alphabet Book,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Jet Alphabet Book (Hardcover)
My 2 year old son loves this book. He requests it and has "read" it over and over. He can pick out and name specific jets by their shape and color. Illustrations are realistic. Not only does this book show both capital and lower case letters, it also shows an example of jets that begin with each letter. Information about current and past jets, some history, and a little about how they work.

I bought this book for my airplane-aficionado son when he was far too young to appreciate all of the advanced details about the jets. No problem - it's a great book to go through, looking at the pictures, and reading just what each letter stands for, starting with "A is for Aerocomet". It was the best airplane book we've found for little kids. Now that he's five, I'm reading the whole thing, every word. It stands up better than most to repeated rereadings.

Our three year old carries this book everywhere. He is constantly flipping through the pages and looking at the jets. He can name all of the jets in the book. The book contains great photographs, and facts about each jet. I also recommend the Airplane Alphabet book. Buy them and add them to your child's collection. You won't be sorry.

The Jet Alphabet Book,

The Jet Alphabet Book is really good because it has my favorite jet is in it; the SR-71 Blackbird. I really like that kind of jet because it can go 3 times the speed of sound and flies so high and so fast the pilot needs to wear a spacesuit and I recomend this book to children ages 4+.

My son recieved "The Airplace Alphabet Book" last year for his birthday, so when I found this, I purchased it right away. As soon as he saw it, he recognized the layout and was so excited to see a book like his airplane one, but about jets. It is one of his absolutely favorite books. Wonderfully illustrated with fun, easy-to-follow-along facts, any child with a fascination with jets will love this book.

I inititally bought this book for my 2 year old since he is learning his letters. But I just got this book in the mail, and am so excited about it, it will be great for the older kids as well. (They are all starting to get interested in fighter jets) It has a lot of different planes in it, and great information about each. It is very well written. I am getting on here now to order a second book for my nephews in first grade. Some of the planes it talks about: E-3, F-16, Harrier, KC-10, F-117, SR-71, F-4, F-22, B-2, F-14, U-2, X-13, and A-10. I have never written a review, that is how much I liked this book.

Lots of fun for little ones - great gift idea for a future pilot, or to fill a shelf in baby aviator nursery!

I bought this for my 3 year old son for Christmas. It is now one of his favorite books. Each letter of the alphabet has a jet and it's description. For example, "T" is for Tomcat. Any child that loves planes will learn a lot. We also have The Airplane Alphabet Book.

This book is fantastic. It's been read and re-read so many times that my son could tell you any of the jets by his second birthday. Each letter of the alphabet has a corresponding jet and short vignette about the jet or jet history (eg. Chuck Yeager breaking mach 1). It is a large paperback book, which does make it vulnerable to rips, but also makes it pleasing to kids due to the large pictures. A winner!
