After 2 phone calls to jetboil.

It's lightweight, durable, and can boil enough water and cook a meal large enough for about 4 people.

The pot does not sit solidly on the burner especially when the handles are extended.

This pot does what it was designed to do: provide extra space to cook for more people. It's lightweight, durable, and can boil enough water and cook a meal large enough for about 4 people. The lid and protective bottom plastic can also double as plates or trays while backpacking. I've used this pot on a number of backpacking trips, and it's always done the job. The food or water heat up fast, and the pot's cleans up relatively easily. It is slightly clumsily, but I think that's primarily a result of its size -- overall it's a nice largish backpacking pot.

I have been using the jet boil integrated set for a while - I love it. Then I decided it might be nice to cook eggs & toast bread when backpacking. This pot sits on top of the burner using an adapter. I find the adapter to be clumsy & awkward to pack because of sharp points that catch any material sacks you put it near/in. The pot does not sit solidly on the burner especially when the handles are extended. The finish is not anti-stick so a lot of grease has to be used while cooking. Even though I did, the metal was stained on the first use. Not a good addition to my outdoor cooking equipment

scrambled 6 eggs in 90 seconds with constant stiring...which is a must to not burn. The JEt boil is a good buy.

This product is fairly nice... not sure if it was worth the price though. Probably could have gotten away with a standard pot. It seems like you are paying a premium for the Jetboil name.

We bought the Jetboil system back in 2010 and have used it repeatedly with great success. We bought a 3 liter pot a couple years ago since we frequently camp/backpack/canoe camp with a group of 4-5 and the 3 liter provides options to make one pot meals (chicken and dumplings, "trail omelets", pasta, soups) for a larger group. Both the 1.5 and 3 liter pots are reasonably nonstick without the need to add a lot of additional oils. We're very satisfied with Jetboil, and If we had it to do over again, we'd buy the Jetboil system again. We often use the tops and bottoms of the pot for "plates" as well.

This was on my husband's gift list, and he really enjoyed it. However, he said it doesn't seem to fit on the stove quite like it should. But it works well.
