Where to begain? It is truly a good flight simulator but has some huge problems to over come. It will not run on windows 98, but will run on window 95 and 98 in a DOS mode. I have owned this game for over 15 years and have recently built up an old computer to run it excluesively. I like the fact that it has about 100 missions and three differant aircraft to fly. You can do carrier landings and land at any airport you can find. The sceanery is good taking in cuba, chile and others. You need to match you hardware to those listed during setup. Windows Vesta, XP, or 7 forget it, it will not run. When I got it, it came complete with detailed books. I found one error in them and that was the command for flaps up and down was not listed on the keyboard layouts( it is ctrl f). Mission studios went away and you can't get support from more recent processors. So if you have an old computer say about 15 years of age or more, Windows 95 that will load its DOS, 500 mb hd, 480x640 vesa monitor, 16 bit sound card, very simple joystick, throttle, and rudder peddles that connect to a gameport, understand autoexec.bat and config.sys you may just be able to fly this thing and have a good time doing it. Otherwise forget it.
