5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite album of all time May 23, 2000
Format:Audio CD
This album is a perfect blend of punk rock and sci-fi, with lyrics taken from Blade Runner (Soldiers Requiem) to a tribute to the Isaac Asimov classic Empire and Foundation (The Mule). I've listened to this CD since it came out in '88 and haven't stopped.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Have November 26, 1999
By Jeff
Format:Audio CD
Jettison is a must have for any punk fan. It still rips 10 years after it was released. Eric Spicer shreds the drums on Soldier's Requiem, Live Wire and Coldbringer. You have never heard anyone who is this quick on drums.
These guys put most bands to shame. Buy this CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best all time CDs October 9, 1999
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
This CD is amazing. I've listened to it for 10 years and still love it. It'll make you throw your Green Day and Blink 182 CDs in the trash and lament the fallen state of truly great punk rock.

5.0 out of 5 stars 2nd great album from punk pioneers September 2, 1999
By A Customer
Format:Audio CD
Raygun's second manifesto(after Throb Throb-The one with the take on the Stranglers on the inner sleeve.Iner sleeves-Remember them?).Lots of great songs after a long wait between releases. And the CD has Vanilla Blue, one of the greatest singles ever on it.Definately a great album from a band that helped keep punk going when everyone at the major labels could care less.Without a doubt a 5 star cd.

I can still remember the first time hearing Soldier's requiem. The melody, the drive, and enough whoa's kept me wanting more. I had to go and have everything that Naked Raygun has ever done. We hear alot about the scenes of New York, DC, Boston, and the entire West Coast back in the 1980's. But rarely do we hear about a scene in Chicago, which in my mind, was one of the best going on during the mid eighties. So many great bands like Out of Order, Big Black, The Effigies, Naked Raygun made quite a impression and put the town of Chicago on the map. If you love infectious melodies and music with a message, I suggest you pick up the most underrated hardcore punk acts to come out of the eighties, Naked Raygun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Side A of Jettison January 13, 2005
Format:Audio CD
...is completely flawless. One of the best things ever recorded, and a huge inspiration. Side B I don't really listen to so much (except for the stellar cover of Suspect Device) but that doesn't matter because side A is one of the best recordings of all time. And the lyrics...Oh, man...
