While the English title of the book is unfortunate -- the book itself is fantastic and rich. Covering many important issues that couples need to learn about for a successful marriage, the book is required reading for my premarriage classes.

The rich tradition and wisdom comes from literally centuries of insights into marriage and raising a Jewish family. Not everything in the book will apply to all couples. However, you will find many important topics that couples need to learn about and discuss as they prepare for marriage.

Eliyahu Ki Tov was an Israeli scholar whose illuminating insights into Jewish tradition focused on the Jewish holidays and calendar. Reading and understanding his work will deepen the sense of sanctity which comes from living a traditional Jewish religious life.
