I love Jewel Quests, and I love Solitare, so thought this would be perfect. It would be, but for the fact that it was too easy. The card games were much too easy, I only had to redeal a few times in the entire game. The jewel matches allow you to switch jewels, which makes it easy. Even if you don't win the jewel matches you still move to the next game. 15 levels, with several games to each. I had no problem with it not saving. Just finish each game in a level and you get a piece of the puzzle. Next time that piece is still there. So, I didn't have to start over at any point. Most Jewel Quests move on to harder levels once you "win." This needs a bit more. Too short and easy. Or I am just really, really good!

I enjoyed the game while I was playing it but it was pretty easy not much challenge - I didn't pay attention to levels but there were 10 puzzles to solve with many boards attached to each puzzle - only had to re-deal a card game once or twice through out the game the gem boards were a little tougher but not much I did have to give a couple of boards a second or third try. Each time you clear a bar on the solitaire games you earn a 'point' some you have to use to clear rubble but use as few as possible so that you head to gem board with as many as you can - the more you have the more options you have in a gem game because that is timed. The puzzles give you hints to positions of the relics - look the pictures carefully one of them will help you solve the final piece of the puzzle. I enjoyed the game but all in all I would say I was disappointed that it wasn't more challenging and had more levels.

This is a great game. I sit down for a couple of minutes, and look up and it's been hours!
highly recommend. Although I went to buy Jewel Quest I and II and a virus was attached, so be cautious.

I love the Jewel Quest Solitaire games! They are addictive! You get the fun of the card game AND the fun of the color match game. I highly recommend it.

This is a pleasant and simple little game for those who like solitaire to begin with and would like something a little more interesting than being able to change the color of the table felt. There is a story line driven by succeeding at each hand of solitaire and solving the accompanying jewel puzzle. The solitaire play is not for purists as the game is designed for each hand to eventually succeed through the use of wild cards, shuffles and card exchanges that are earned by bonuses. The graphics are simple but adequate and the game moves along at a moderate pace. It is essentially a one-time through game for the story line portion but there is an option to just play solitaire if desired.

What I Expected,

With the digital download, I was able to play and then buy so it is exactly what I expected. Also when my computer had to be restored and the game disappeared, I was able to redownload it immediately just as promised.
There's nothing special about the game unless you enjoy playing solitaire with various layouts and match three with various symbols (which I do). It's not the best game I've ever played and it does have some quirks during which the game simply quits working, but closing and restarting it works (but your last level played is gone). So that's why I give it a middle of the road ranking.

This was such a fun game, I was really disappointed when I was done with the full quest. Sometimes I go back and just play the cards for fun. Would like to see them make another like this one.

I was excited to receive this game with two different modes. One is solitaire alone, one is
a full quest, solitaire and jewel matching. 15 levels, then on the full quest, ten items to be placed in correct order, and a combination lock to open. I anticipated this would open an entirely new book, and harder challenges. Wrong. It was all over. Even playing a second game under a new player name, the game repeated itself. I was sorely disappointed. It was fun to play, but did not go beyond the 15 levels, and over much to soon. I recommend playing it with "wild coins", or sit down for a marathon free trial. Bejeweled III is much more fun.

I love jewel quest so I thought I might like this one to. The game is pretty easy but I play for entertainment not really for a challenge. After you solve the artifacts puzzle you are then presented with a safe that appears to take a 3 digit code. Where are the clues to figure out the code? Is this the end of the game or is there more?
I'm confused and can't find an answer. Does anybody know? If that's the end I'd say the game is pretty lame. Where can I find the answer to this mystery?

Don't BUY this game !!!,

This game is terrible... when you get to a gold level; going against another player for first to 32, 34, 39 wins, etc. YOU can't BEAT the other player because on his/her first play; they already have 10 to your 0; AND restarting the game a dozen times still gets you NOWHERE !!
Every try to do a FPS game and the opponent has a grenade launcher, and you have no weapons ?? It could be a lot better for a 3rd version of the game; at least the earlier games had a way to move on with alternate options... |
