This review is from: Jewelry 7000 Years: An International History and Illustrated Survey from the Collections of the British Museum (Hardcover)
This book surveys jewelry from as early as 5000 BC to the mid 20th century and showcases work from all over the world. What I like about this book is that there are lots of photos, both color and black and white. Most of the photos are large, and all of them show clear details. Since the book covers so much time and geographic area, there is not a lot of information on each time/culture, but that's understandable. An inspiring book for the jewelry designer, a great coffee table book for everyone else!
