About the Author

A professional jeweler with a lifelong interest in the metaphysical, Shakti Carola Navran (Hawaii) has been crafting personalized "soul jewelry" since 1977.  She was trained in the European tradition of jewelry making in Cologne, Germany, where she had a studio and gallery for many years.  She has studied astrology, healing and spiritual growth for thirty years and shares her expertise through individual sessions and seminars.

Shakti Carola Navran is originally from Germany, living in Maui, Hawaii. She is a jeweler, evolutionary astrologer and a published author with Llewellyn. She is also writing a monthly column for the Maui Weekly her "Living Your Sun Sign" suggestions. In her book she teaches you about how to read your personal horoscope and blue print for your life and how you can balance and heal yourself accordingly with gems.

What a fascinating book to read! I loved sharing Shakti's journey of discovery with her. It was fun to read from cover to cover in addition to being an invaluable resource book for anyone who wears, buys, or creates jewelry.
The astrology information was so simply explained, clarifying many questions I have always had about the stars.
Before you purchase another piece of jewelry, you must read this!

Shakti Navran has created a book as beautiful and radiant as the gems she describes so perfectly. This book certainly did delight my eye as well as my mind and my heart. And, it did affirm the connection between my body and my soul... so much so that I will be much more conscious of chosing the jewelry that I wear. Thank you Shakti for recognizing and teaching us about the beauty and healing that nature provides.
