There are few books written about jewelry from the South East Asian countries, and of the few this is defenitely the most comprehensive. Not the mention detail and photos that explain the workmanship and the quality of the jewelry. A good read. interesting points written about each item.

I am a numismatist who writes about the financial instruments of Southeast Asia. Many of the older pieces were also made by the same craftsmen who created jewelry and other cast metal items. This reference gave me many new ideas and information to write my articles. Excellent reference!
