This review is from: A Jewish Book of Comfort (Hardcover)
This is a tastefully selected anthology for mourners that Alan Kay put together after the passing of his father. It combines traditional Jewish writings with some more contemporary pieces of literature. The Jewish tradition has many great works , Psalms, Lamentations, Job , and many others which express the spirit of mourning in a deep way. This book also includes an account of Kay's own personal process of mourning which is also moving and helpful.A very good work- the prayer is that none of us should need it. |
