Review of Jewish Book of Etiquette,
By Arati (Fair Oaks Ranch, TX) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Jewish Book of Etiquette (Hardcover)
I ordered this book used. It was to be a Chanukah gift. When I recieved the book, I started peeling the library stickers off and the cover started falling apart. I tried to be more careful but the phone rang. Distracted, I kept peeling.... before I knew it, the book was mutilated. Then I lost the book in my own home! I couldn't find it for the holidays! "Baruch Hashem!" Sure enough, when the book surfaced, it turned out to be completely useless. This book was filled with philosophical common sense and some interpretation of Torah. If you are looking for modern day advice on tricky social situations, dress codes, appropriate gifts, use of names & titles, etc. look elsewhere.
