Enjoy 40 delicious, nourishing recipes that draw on the rich heritage of Jewish cookery.
My first job was translating (French, Italian and German). I then started a catering business and gave cookery classes. This led to the publication of six cookbooks, a series in The Sunday Times and articles in major British newspapers.
In 2007 I won an award for my novel The Camel Trail. Based on a true story it's a saga spanning two centuries, set in Gibraltar, Lisbon, London and Safed.
My latest book (also nominated for a World Gourmand award) is Lookit Cookit - kitchen games for curious children.
My daily blog, The Armchair Kitchen, brings together my interest in food, books and photography.
