About the Author

Joseph M. Siegman is a television producer and writer. He founded the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 1979. He chaired the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame from 1981 to 1989 and has since served as Chairman of its Selection Committee. For 15 years he was a member of the U.S. Maccabiah Games Organizing Committee, and competed in cricket and lawn bowling in five quadrennial Maccabiah Games. --This text refers to an alternate Hardcover edition.

This book is a comprehensive guide to Jewish achievements in sport throughout the world. It does not simply focus on the major spectator sports but covers the Olympic sports also.
