After owning and using two previous clothing steamers in the past, I was a little disappointed by the lifespan they had and anxious to try a different model. I had a Steamfast model the first two times and they lasted about a year and a half each one. Customer service was great and they sent me a replacement piece (20 bucks) to fix the problem for a while but eventually it broke down again. Still, I would have no problem buying one again, but i had to try out this Jiffy.

This Jiffy is great because it has a metal head! The head does seem to act more like an iron than the previous plastic head pieces that would eventually melt apart over time on the older Steamfast models I have had(lots of duct tape over the years). The head as well as the two other pieces to attach to the tubing led me to give this Jiffy a try.

Another great feature that I am very happy about is the water fill tank. In previous models, I had to use a funnel to fill the tank. My dog would often steal the funnel and chew it to pieces and I would always end up having to soak up some spilled water. A real pain in the behind that this model avoids.

There is a nice metal clothing rack that is much sturdier than models I used in the past. There is a wrench that sit cleverly magnetized under the unit for head swapping. Very cool features.

This unit comes to a full steam so much quicker than any other unit that I have used.

One major concern that I have is that where the tube meets the wood on the hose, it seems likely that it will wear out eventually. Maybe this will not ever be a problem, but it does seem to be wearing down already. I would think so sort of spring would be a nice fit to bridge the gap at that point.

Another slightly upsetting thing is that the steam hose attachment end for cleaning did not see to work at blasting away dirt or mold around my shower as I had hoped. Maybe I will have to spray the area beforehand next time, but after one trial run...not impressed with it yet.

Overall, as you can see, I am very satisfied with my purchase. I think it is the best steamer I have ever owned and laundry seemed to take much quicker to steam that with units in the past. It is faster to heat and faster to clean with. The metal head is a great feature as it heats up as well creating that synergistic "iron" like situation when contacting the clothing. I would definitely buy this unit again. It will be well worth the money.

This product gets the job done. Tried it on my brothers soccer practice shirt he had smashed into back pack. Not only did it take out all the wrinkles like a shirt ready for a night out on the town but it removed most of the odor. I like the changeable attachments, they are durable and of quality defiantly worth it. The pole to hang clothes is collapsible for easy storage. It even comes with its own wrench to tighten the hose. This thing is great and i got it from premier appliance who amazed me with great customer service. thanks check them out

This is my 1st time purchasing a Professional Garment Steamer. I went with the Jiffy "I" series line, from reading about all the great reviews. I am happy with the purchase.


Remember, to use it on shirts inside out and hold the garment down as you steam down word. Works the best this way! Trying the different nozzles around the house.
Wanted to mostly save time with my husbands dress shirts.

Would recommend it to a friend!

Love the steamer. It's everything everyone says it is. Let me just say that it works better on natural fibers. But now I've run into a problem. I've been using the regular 6" head for clothes but now want to change out to the 9" curved pipe. Unfortunately, I can't unscrew the 6" head. Help. It's stuck. Even my husband can't unscrew it. He actually bent the wrench that came with the steamer trying to loosen it without making any difference. These are aluminum heads with brass couplings. Any advice?

Excellent, heavy duty garment steamer. Saves a lot of time. It's a shame I was not aware of this product earlier.

I got my Jiffy J-2000I a couple of weeks ago. I have used it on clothes. Heats up fast, steams well, I just have to learn how use it on the tight areas without burning my hand. I haven't used the attachments yet, but so far I like it.

I love using this. I can't figure out how to do dress shirts yet but I love using it for napkins, table cloths, and clothes with roses and things that need to be laid down around the neck. Works great and I love having this!

I bought this for my wife to use at home, it feels solid and is very well made. However, these is "something" to consider.

ALL heads are completely "metal", which translates to "heavy".

My wife used to work in a bridal boutique and used these steamers every single day, and she can not imagine using this steamer for work (even this is professional quality), because it will wear you out very quickly. It'd be fine if you use it for some quick steaming, but if you are going to use it for long durations, get plastic heads.

Regardless, Jiffy makes quality steamers, and we keep this for that reason.
