Although I had formally studied French for several years, when I took my first trip to France, I used this little book a lot. Before I went into the train station,metro, airport, etc., I reviewed the phrases in those sections. It has vocabulary, phrases, and some cultural/travel tips. It is also small enough to keep in your pocket at all times. I would recommend it.

If you are going to be spending any time in a French speaking country and you're not fluent, you NEED to own this book! Organized by categories like the metro and in the airport, it is very easy to review these sections before entering the airport or metro station to remind yourself of the terms and phrases that will most likely be used.
